Monemvasia is a marvelous small town with great history. Lazareto hotel is a very nice hotel at the best location. The room was nice and had an air from the past which we like a lot.
The single beds where my children slept were good but the double bed was very small for two adults. As for breakfast, it was very satisfying along with the staff who was very friendly. We would love to go back to this hotel again but next time we'll ask for a room with a bigger double bed.

This is a very good choice for a stay in Monemvasia. The historical setting of this boutique hotel gives it a very special flavor. The location is perfect, at the foot of the Rock: you may choose either a walk to Monemvasia proper or to the new city on the coast. Beautiful views of this magnificent coast. Rooms are furnished with a great taste, respectful ot the historical settings. Breakfast is OK. [...]

The design of the room and the furnishings were very nice. Had the feel of a totally redesigned old mansion. Breakfast was scrumptious and the views from the terraces were pretty spectacular.

This is a great place, a hotel of great quality and beauty.

The place is amazing! It is on the island but also it is isolated from the noisy groups of tourists, it has a quiet place with perfect romantic location under the rock, a beautiful garden with old trees, wonderful place to eat, the suite rooms are great they are cozy and well partitioned, all personal is nice... and they are dog lovers ! We've enjoyed every minute there !! 

Απίστευτη αισθητική του χώρου. Πολύ φιλικό περιβάλλον και άψογη φιλoξενία από όλο το προσωπικό Οι χώροι είναι όπως αρμόζει σε ένα ξενοδοχείο σε αυτή την περιοχή. Η μουσική που ακούγεται στους κοινόχρηστους χώρους σε χαλαρώνει και σε ταξιδεύει. K. Γιάννη ευχαριστούμε για όλα. Σίγουρα θα τα λέμε συχνά. Από τα πιο ωραία weekend των τελευταίων 15 ετών.

The location was perfect- near the Castro but without the inconveniences- good to have parking and to be able to walk everywhere easily. The rooms and garden were beautiful; the breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Very warm welcome. Helpful and friendly staff. Large terrace in the garden for breakfast. Hotel design completely integrated in the local traditional style. A smashing success!

Extraordinarily nice staff - we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. From nice conversations and little things to add to our stay, they really went above and beyond. The location is also perfect - close to all the sites but not right on top of them. I would recommend Lazareto to anyone visiting Monemvasia.

A part from the beauty and charm of the city of Monenvassia itself, the hotel is in a perfect location at the entrance of the island, The old buildings, which where the old "Lazzareto enclave", have been wonderfully restaured, are all in stone, and the confort of the rooms is indeed very good. The fact that these rooms (we were in the old mill, which is a round tower) are only 10 meters away from the seashore is of course very important for the guests. The hotel people where friendly and helpful. 10/10 points for the breakfast, that can be consumed on a terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel is to be highly recommended and worth a "bis"
