“The old buildings, which were the old 'Lazzareto enclave', have been wonderfully restored — all in stone, and the comfort of the rooms is indeed very good. The rooms are only ten metres from the seashore. 10/10 for the breakfast, consumed on a terrace overlooking the sea. Highly recommended and worth a return visit.”
“Extraordinarily nice staff — we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. From nice conversations to little things that added to our stay, they really went above and beyond. The location is also perfect: close to all the sites but not right on top of them. I would recommend Lazareto to anyone visiting Monemvasia.”

“The historical setting of this boutique hotel gives it a very special flavour. The location is perfect — at the foot of the Rock, you can walk either to Monemvasia proper or to the new town on the coast. Rooms are furnished with great taste, respectful of the historical surroundings.”
